FPOS Update

Based on feedback from the first FPOS Intermediate course we have now changed the order slightly, as well as the examinations to ensure that a full day is available. The new course is available on the Instructors CD Rom, therefore you will need to update your laptop should you have downloaded it prior to February/March 2007.

Course Modules 2007

We have launched updated versions of all our courses. Improvements include:

• Redesigned outlines and templates

• Use of the official ERC template for basic life support

• Improved links to videos and animations (optional for most courses)

• Trial of links to the internet for animations where clients have wireless or internet access

• Inclusion of a series of 'you are the provider' discussion scenarios to allow you to review lessons in a structured manner, and ensure that students have understood underlying theory

• Improved guidance on practical exercises including timings

• Revised and improved examinations (3 versions) as well as a student practice examination

• End of day quizzes
