Training Standards

Revive Healthcare Training Ltd strives to maintain the highest educational and training standards. All courses are evidence based and regularly reviewed for content and appropriateness given the latest published medical evidence. To that end we primarily rely on:

  • UK Resuscitation Council and European Resuscitation Council guidelines;
  • Joint Royal College Ambulance Liaison Committee guidelines and protocols;
  • The latest first aid manual as published by the voluntary aid societies;
  • Journals such as the British Medical Journal and Emergency Medicine Journal; and
  • Guidelines published by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).

All classes use PowerPoint® technology to visually and verbally support the instructor through the use of video and audio files in-built into the course modules.

We support theory with a range of practical exercises using equipment such as manikins, resuscitation masks, AEDs and other training aids appropriate for the modules being taught, thus ensuring students can practice their new skills.

Students receive course handouts, workbook or textbook appropriate to the course being taught.

At the end of every course students are invited to comment on issues such as timing, content and their instructor. Course co-ordinators are invited to also comment on how the advice given, costs and administration aspects of Revive Healthcare Training Ltd met their particular needs and expectations. We operate a complaints policy which is available upon request.
